HAHA! GJ although I have taken up running as well as vaping , the running is more unbelievable in my mind than the vaping I really don't understand it all but I think the two are connected!

...humming Kate Bush's Running up That Hill Fabby post GJ Don't know about running up hill but... I remember taking guests out the hill many years ago, I had just bought my first pair of Hill Boots.. for those of you who don't know, Hill Boots are like the old fashioned work boots or Army boots. the difference is that they have a solid cleated sole designed for grip and the toe points up.. when you walk on flat ground you role your foot and can march along at a great speed. They come into their own though when walking straight up hill, you walk by digging your toe in to the soft moss/grass/heather and because of the shape of the sole your calf muscles are not overworked or stretched so your legs don't get sore. The down side to them is when your coming down hill.. the secret then is to walk on your heals and lean back...  You can imagine how stupid I felt when I lost my footing and started down hill at the gallop..  ..I couldn't do a blessed thing about it... I passed all these posh people screaming like a Banshee arms and legs everywhere flat out down hill for about 500 yards.... When I finally came to a halt and collapsed in a heap it dawned on me that they were all there..right behind me.. puffing and panting every one of them... ??? Turns out they had no idea why I had taken to my heals.. but if I was running they had better run too.....   Needless to say I got quite a talking to from the head keeper later that night.. that was ....once we had all stopped laughing of course.... |
