While we wait for our AAEC wiki to be updated Can any one give me tips on what to use for cleaning battery terminals? My Twists have been getting flooded with juice with my attempts at direct dripping, I give them a quick wipe with tissue and cotton buds constantly, but I don't think that's doing the trick as the insides are still gross and brown looking and I think I must have juice in my charger terminals too. My twists have started losing their battery life capacity again and last time that was put down to a faulty charger, but both my chargers are new and it's happening with both my twists so I think the chargers may have gunk in them and that may be affecting it too.... Please correct me if it seems like I'm wrong. Reason I'm asking what to use for cleaning them is that I can't use alcohol or alcohol swabs as is mostly suggested, any other ideas/tips?

No idea if this is safe or harmful for the twist batts though...

Baby Wipes work well as they have mild detergent in them, get the non scented or hypoallergenic ones.

just dampen the cotton buds with water or maybe a bit of detergent to lift any grime you have there... clean the charger too ...disconnect it first tho

Thanks guys, great tips, Anyone have any ideas on whether juice build up is buggering up my chargers/causing my twist battery life to fade? I've heard that it can do although I'm not 100% certain, but it recommended that you keep the connections clean as well the terminals

I'm taking about the bit around the centre post, the centre post itself and the ridged stuff inside, hope that makes sense

Thanks Macca, do you think this could be causing the shortening life of the twists?

you could also try to shift suborn gunk with a tooth brush or similar with the cotton bud have a go at pulling the cotton on the end to make it pointy so it reaches the channel around the centre pin

Thanks Macca, do you think this could be causing the shortening life of the twists? I doubt it but maybe they are not charging fully..No way of telling really.. On the boost side, the twist is not very accurate, so maybe you got high voltage/low res combination going on..For example if you set it to four a couple of my twists output 4.1 volts under load.. Try stepping it back by 0.2-0.4 volts and see if the vape is as good. They will last longer that way..

That could be it, I've been going a bit higher with voltages recently with LR attys, that could be making the difference
