Hi im new to the site but have been vaping with the e cig, its been around 3 months i quit the ciggi`s now, im well proud of mysaelf , i started on the ego-t atty kit but i now use the ce4/5 carto and ego-c twist vv battery , a great bit of kit ,a few years back i had a bad RTA on a motorbike and ripped my arm of and alot more, so now i vape iso oil instead of wiping myself out with opiates to which i think is a great trade of as i can now function through out the day, i vape my meds with this battery and the ego-w atty/carto which works well with iso oil, i was wondering if anyone else has tried this and what bit of kit they use. Im now looking to upgrade my kit to a more powerfull and reliable vv battery , could any of you good souls point me in the right direction and give a little advice for which to buy at a reasonable price , also i wondered if anyone had tried the ce5 carto`s for meds , cheers very much guys .

Yes i been looking at the pro vari , so do you reckon its a good buy ? , the problem i got is io dont know what batteries and chargers etc to get with them , the lavatube looks a steal and the smoktech vv , but again im unsure what to buy with them so may get a kit , although i feel this is the most expensive route , cheers on the HU m8 , nice 1.

the lavatube is a really good buy ...fab price for a good bit of kit... the smoktech vv im not as keen on usually when you buy a kit the batteries and charger arnt the best. they do the job tho but if you want my suggestion i would grab a xtar wp2 and some AW batteries

a passthrough is where a USB port is used to power your device
some have a battery as part of them too ...so you can vape and charge at the same time... then disconnect from USB and take the battery with you

Hello scaffman69 and Sorry to hear about your horrific accident, one of the reasons I don't like my OH riding his bike anymore as he had a bad accident about 10 years ago. Wish he'd hurry up and sell the thing. Never heard of anyone vaping iso oil before, but thinking about it, it's feasible. Good luck in finding a suitable device. edited, just noticed duplicated word

Hi Scaffman and , I guess I am what you'd term an "old hand". As a long term Vaper I can thoroughly recommend the Provari, there are different sizes that take different batteries. Therefore you can buy the set-up that suits your needs, basically the bigger the battery the longer between charges but a bigger device. Look at the Provari as a investment, it is VERY well built and has all the functions you will/may need, you should not need to buy another device for a long time if you get one. Don't do like I did, buying all sorts of cheaper stuff some not bad and some pretty pants. In the end I got a Provari because I know it will last and "does what it says on the tin". You also only need to carry a couple of charged batteries rather than complete devices. Good luck, keep asking questions, now matter how trivial they may seem.

Most of the things I would suggest (e.g. dripping atties) are probably a bit much for someone who is short one arm.
I would expect higer temps would give you better conversion for your meds so variable voltage is deffo the way to go. (Hopefully you are removing all the iso first and dissolving in PG).
With cartos, you need to pick something that won't clog easily. Top coil types would be better than bottom coil in my experience.
