Hi all,
Firstly is was a pleasure to meet some of you at Vape fest - good day out.
I made two purchases - a gripper Mod which I love and a Penelope
I not sure if I like the penelope, Ive got it going ok, but to be honest I think I prefer the viva nova - Iam being weird or what !!!
The coil wire which came with the penelope gives a resistance of 1.4 - 1.6 ohms - (does this seem ok), which with the juice Iam using seems I can only vape at low voltage 3.0v or the juice tastes burnt.
May be its me but the Nova is so much easier and vapes just as well - or iam I doing something reallly wrong ??
The othe problem is that it doesnt work on my lava tube unless I either raise the centre pin of the lava tube first or wind out the centre pole of the penelope, but that makes it to airy I think.
So the question is do I sell the penelope and buy a load of novas and spare heads or keep the penelope and buy different wire and experiment.
Being a clumsy oaf, If Iam gonna sell it I want to do it before I drop it and mark it!
So I dont know what to do any advice !!
Cheers all

Neil 1.4 - 1.6 is spot on with the ready wire. At 3v that will give you 6 watts which is fine for most juices. That's the beauty of vv .... adjust it to give the best vape. High volts does not necessarily = best vape. Give the Penny a chance before selling. Play with not just the air control but juice flow as well. If after a week or two you're still unsure, there will be plenty of buyers waiting. Just don't drop her on anything too hard

Cheers all The nova is a great little attie tank but that penelope WILL be what ever you want it to be, all you need to do is get some of your own wire and make some coils to what ever resistance you fancy. The nova doesn't even come close to what penelope is capable of. Try making your own coils before you even consider letting penelope out of your sight let alone selling her

Cheers Jayjay I may well take you up on your offer - thanks mate No worries mate. When you try the combo, you won't be selling the penny, you'll be buying a provari. A penny provari combo is the nuts. Des will confirm!
