Yes Beauty, that silicon stuff makes the seal between the top of the atty and the mouthpiece. The juice will be seeping in there and down the tube

Just reheaded both of mine no problems at all with leaks. One problem I did have a short while ago was that one appeared dead took it apart to rehead and found the head had come loose retightened, no problem after. Dave

What can happen with these is that when you unscrew the mouthpiece to refill them, the mouthpiece catches the top of the head and unscrews that slightly too, resulting in what you found

As Oneday says, sometimes when unscrewing the mouthpiece to fill it can loosen the head. I have one that always unscrews itself and have a fine pair of tweezers handy to re-tighten it. That's the only problem I have with them, all my others are fine

Received an order of 5 + a pack of heads a few days ago in order to reduce costs even more. Have only used one so far and to date no problems . Will report back if necessary.
