Stinkie free for 3 weeks!

Hi all.
Tomorrow I will have been completely off the cigs for 3 whole weeks, something I have never managed before in all my quitting attempts. It has been so easy to achieve too I only wish I had discovered vaping sooner. Even on holiday here in turkey where cigs are £2 a pack I have not been tempted at all. Two days ago we walked from our hotel to the ghost village a few miles outside hisaronu and climbed to the highest point, which is bloody high! I was breathless as hell but not wheezing or coughing or dizzy! We then walked back with most of the route being a 10 percent gradient uphill! I am now determined to get fit when I get back to the UK.

Thanks guys I am chuffed with myself to be honest. I am currently on 24mg menthol mixing it with 18mg sweet flavours which I can't vape on their own as they are a bit sickly but mixed with the menthol they are great. Coconut and menthol, vanilla and menthol, cheesecake and menthol lol. My next order will be 18mg menthol I will see how I get in with that.

I have read before about buying menthol crystals and mixing it in with least favourite juices. Boots sell it apparantly and a lot cheaper than ready made.

I've read that somewhere too must dig it out and have a proper read, I could be braver at trying new flavours if I knew I could easily "mentholise" them if I didn't like them too much

I too have just returned from Holiday and didn't miss the stinkies once..If I am honest I did miss scourcing the ciggies as I used to get A big kick out of buying the stinkies for £2-3 when they were £6 back home!!!

Nice to hear that Pam. I shall be there sometime during tomorrow night.

I just had a 3 day car show last weekend. I found that I couldn't vape in the heat of the day. I seemed to permanently have a drink in hand but seemed to dehydrate as quick as I was hydrating. Trying to vape was awful.

So I had about 7 stinkies over the 3 day period, I was back to vaping in the evenings as the sun went down and was fine in the mornings too. This was in the middle of large fields and even the shade of the gala tent didn't help.

So I have 10 days in Turkey looming. I'm not going to ruin my holiday if I can't vape in the heat of the day. I'm pretty sure it will be ok when eating / inside/evenings and things and I will always have my ecig on me. But if I have to have a real one then I do.
First I have to warn hubby ( he won't be happy) but he will have to live with it.

I've been ok vaping in the heat but have been drinking a lot of water and pop along with it. I have been more concerned with keeping the juice out of the sun. I don't chain vape just use it when I get the urge for a ciggie, vape for about twice as long as a fag would take to smoke then put it away again. I have felt my mouth get very dry so I stop and down half a litre of fluid. I really hope you don't have to smoke too many ciggies while you are over here

My other half is most of the way through 200 he bought last week, but he is smoking less than he did when I was smoking. I hammer the ready mades on holiday so he would have one when I did.

Well done, Pam! I've just come back from Hisaronu and didn't have a single stinky even tho the e-lites I was using were rubbish in the heat (and only one night did I really crave one and that was after a cocktail or six! )

Turkey seems very popular here on the forum, maybe we should organise a Vapefest over there!
