Menthol on hand for these occasions is a MUST

It's a very good way to still get some pleasure from your vape even when you can't taste anything else. I found that after each episode of my tastebuds going on holiday that my tastes had changed. The best advice is to stick to ordering small bottles of juice because while you may think you've found your perfect vape it's bound to change (again, and again ).

Menthol or strong coffee flavours. Keep a seperate atty for them as they'll taint the atty & ruin the taste of any other juices.

ah, the old tastebud holiday...

i had mine at the 3 week mark, roughly, and it sucked horribly and lasted almost 3 days.....

i remember someone else on here was going through the same thing, might have been esme or ellen, and it was also the 3 week mark for them..

anyway, i been vaping almost 6 months now, i think, and it hasn't happened since..

lotsa water, diff flavours, try menthol etc - all the suggestions didn't help, except one - calm down on the vaping for a bit and wait......time should sort it

The average person has about 10,000 taste buds and they're replaced every 2 weeks or so. But as a person ages, some of those taste cells don't get replaced. An older person may only have 5,000 working taste buds. That's why certain foods may taste stronger to you than they do to adults. Smoking also can reduce the number of taste buds a person has.

From reading other stuff on tinterweb, I think the replacement can be a bit cyclical, i.e. there are times when you don't have so many taste buds while new ones grow, this may go some way to explaining why we lose our or our sense of taste or it reduces from time to time.

Agreeing with the others...............menthol usually does the trick, I have a couple of bottles of menthol just in case my taste buds deaden, doesnt happen a lot but now, but sometimes that juice that you love just doesnt seem to work its magic, either a few drops in the juice or full an atty with it and vape on that
