I had been getting a dead short when I screwed an atomiser into my lavatube mini the "LO" message had been appearing for the last few days. If i loosened off the atomiser the message disappeared, but it go worse then finally failed this morning. I know these are a real git to take apart so I looked carefully in the connector and noticed a sliver of the silicone grommet that holds the center pin in was flopping about in the bottom of the connector. I carefully pulled up the center pin expecting the wire to break any second and could see that the grommet had split in two, this caused the pin to short against the case giving me the "LO" message. I was reassured to see a nice thick white wire soldered on to the bottom of the pin and the pin & wire came out about 2 cm's from the body of the Lavatube. Now, how to repair? I remembered I had a duff Ego battery in my vaping drawer, I got this and teased the center pin out as I did with the lavatube, a much thinner red wire was attached, but more importantly a nice pristine silicone grommet! I pulled the grommet off and put it on my Lavatube pin, and carefully re-inserted it into the lavatube. I fired it up and NO SHORT! woohoo! So if you have the same problem you now know what it is and how to rectify it. Here's a picture: Hope this helps someone.

Well done Des I had issues with my LT, mine actually became totally useless as it wouldn't connect to any of my atties, appeared as though the thread had 'stretched.' Alex very kindly sent me a new one out from the new batch, these so far, appear to be much better made.

There appears to be issues with this batch of LTs.
My wife`s one bit the dust too in a weird way. Alex has offered to send out a replacement but, as yet, it hasnt materialised :-[.
Im glad to hear that the new batch is better quality.
