Error Error Codes Codes Errors – There are a number of safety monitors built into the ProVari and its always checking checking for problems If a problem is detected the display will show a two digit error for problems. If a problem is detected the display will show a two digit error code for 4 seconds alerting you of a problem. The following are the error codes: • E1 – Short Circuit / Shorted Atomizer – If this error appears, remove the atomizer and replace with a different one or or lower your voltage settings The ProVari will automatically reset when the problem is fixed lower your voltage settings. The ProVari will automatically reset when the problem is fixed.[glow=red,2,300][/glow] • E2 – Current Limit Exceeded – If this error appears, lower the voltage on the device or use a higher resistance atomizer. Once the problem has been fixed, the ProVari will reset itself. • E3 – Thermal Monitor – If this error appears, let the device cool off for several minutes before using again. • E4 – Input Voltage to DC/DC converter error - Contact ProVape. • E5 – Converter has a problem - Contact ProVape. •• E6E6 -- Microprocessor Microprocessor has a problem has a problem –– Contact Contact ProVape ProVape. • E7 – Voltage output detected when there should be none – This can be caused by a converter fault or by an open atomizer. Only contact ProVape if you know the atomizer is good and the problem persists. • E8 – Converter has detected a fault – Contact ProVape is this persists.

My OH has a provari mini and uses a Vivi Nova tank. We have noticed with the latest batch of coils from HC that more error codes are popping up.
E1 doesn't always mean the coil has gone - wait and try again the code disappears, and the coil still works E2 code also appears - seems to suggest a wicking fault! - fill her up! Once we had an E8 code - put it down and waited 2 hours and it never came back.
We have tried a carto on the mini and that works fine - no errors at all. So the problem seems to be the vivi nova/ new coils - perhaps time for a new tank!

Have you looked down the tube at the coils? They might be touching the inner tube.
