As I've said before jacvapour mint is my all day favourite vape, but I was beginning to find a funny taste with it, I was vaping it in an ego v3 2.4 ohms (which I'd tried cleaning and also substituted for a new one). IN my recent health cabin order (thanks again to perpy) I ordered a couple of viva nova's to try, And have just put a 1.8ohm head on and filled it up with my mint, and it tastes like it used to. Needless to say am very happy!
Was wondering if change in flavour will be the lower ohms or the different clearo or a bit of both??

Lower ohms means lower resistance = hotter wire = more flavour, also a new battery and new clearo are gonne be just like a new setup, theres no harm in cleaning stuff, contacts too, but theres only so much we can do to squeeze more life from an item, i look forward to new cartos/clearos/coils, whatever im vaping.
Forgot to add, adding higher voltages to lower ohm coils isnt always good, if youre on a twist or provari you will likely get errors

Yes I'd tried it with a completely new v3 and was still getting the same weird tang to it, thinking back it doesn't taste exactly as it used to but it's back to being lush so am happy :-)

The mint or the vivi nova? The mint is rather mentholly (not in flavour but in sensation) I know what I mean!!!

My Vivi nova came with the 1.8 head attached so that's what I have been using,I cant turn the voltage past 3.5 without the risk of tainting/burning the flavour, will re wick but I am not going to waste a new coil and wick for the sake of it

Perpy told me that whilst it's not recommended to use lower than 2ohms on a riva she uses 1.8 and never had problem with it and to be honest it's not caused a problem on mine.

If you really want to unleash the flavour of your juices you could lay your hands on a dripping atty. You can pick up one the the rebuildables for cheap, a good thing to have in your vaping kit, even if it is for testing out new juices. Different vaping gear will definately affect the taste and vapour

I tried a 306 atty but couldn't get on with it at all unfortunately!!! Thinking of a rebuildable but they're all too expensive atm

Ratfinkz I know you're struggling with the benefits people at the moment, but when you can afford one the VH Dripper (also known as the Big Dripper or Phoenix on other sites) is a great introduction to dripping for £12
