Repairs & Defunct Stuff

Due to personal circumstances, I am unable to be as active as I used to be on the internet. You might have noticed me posting occasionally in UKV and that's because I am unable to access this forum from work anymore, as our corporate firewall has barred all proboards forums.

As many of you are aware I have carried out several repairs, especially of ego type batteries, for no-charge, save the cost of postage. I just do this as a hobby and to keep myself busy.

So if there is anything you would like me to have a look at or repair for you, please feel free to PM me for my address and I will be more than happy to repair it for you. All I ask is that you include sufficient stamps to cover return postage, (usually a large 90p stamp will do), so that if I am successful in repairing your stuff, I can post it straight back to you. There is no charge and I only do this as a hobby and I usually turn things around pretty quickly.

As always any dead stuff which will end up in the bin is also welcome as I like to tinker with defunct stuff in my spare time, but please be mindful of the cost of postage to yourself.

Funny you should mention 'spare parts' - I had been looking at all my 'spares' from when I first started - the early days of Totally Wicked and wondered whether they would be any use to someone. Some of it is brand new.

Yeah sometimes I can view the board and login but can't read or post anything and it just comes up with the corporate warning stating "Category Games" is filtered. It's not just this one. I tried several other Proboards too and it's the same.

I think it would be better giving the brand new and working stuff that you are not going to use to newbies magicma..Thanks for the offer. Just put it up on the classies and they'll be gone before you can say Jack Robinson..

Ive a couple, might just be one, I need to have a sort out, of riva 1100 batteries that just stopped working ages ago. Ive a mate who would like them if they can be repaired.
Both were dropped while i was driving, but only onto carpeted floor. Never bothered until i saw this thread and #icon_idea# .

Also got one of jasons vv egos. The red red/blue blue ones. That worked very intermitently. Contacted Jason and he said to send it back, but just never got round to it.

If I send these off to you, and you look at em and cant fix em, just pretend to be frankenstein and make a monster....

The vv ego only seems to work when messing about with atty while firing it. #icon_idea# might just try lifting centre pin.... hang on

Brian my 3 stage vv egos only work on the low setting and the high setting! They just don't do the one in the middle

I have to hold it to my ear so i can hear it popping and hoping to get a vape. I have loads of gear so it ended up in the odds n sods box
