I leave the cap on. It steeps just fine like that. The only time I feel leaving the cap off helps is if there is a chemical/floral/perfume taste you don't like. it helps it disperse. Those tastes tend to be if there's too much flavouring for your personal taste. In my opinion of course |

So what we should say is, leave to rest for 48hrs befor using, same as VE does.
