hi, im sorry im not the brightest spark in the bunch, a little help will be great, i normally vape 18% nic juice (30%/70%) and im going to give this mixing ago. So far ive brought the VEGETABLE GLYCERINE, and 11 intense flavours from cup-cake website. i went on the Nicvape website to buy the nicotine liquid, im im confused (it doesnt take alot lol) what nic juice do i buy ? I ordered 500ml VG @ 50mg nicotine strength as I think thats what Frogster uses most of the time then I'll just follow the recipe, hope thats helpful. Dave |

Just to make it easy for Perps to find the recipes, Here are three of my old recipes that were posted in another thread, I have changed them to my standard format (I think they look nice with a pic). Flavour makes can be substituted, if say you have a CCW Caramel not a Flavourart one… but remember strengths vary, and you may need to adjust them. All my recipes are to my tastes, yours may vary, so you can use them as a starting point and adjust / change as required to your tastes, I won’t be offended.    More to follow………. Enjoy  |

I can't get the taste of that darn softmints (peppermint menthol) out of my wick....  God it was STRONG    , I just syringed out the dregs from the DID I had it in and refilled with some of my home made tobacco and it still tastes like.... like a big fat Trebor XXX. I even removed the wick and burnt it off, re juiced it and oxidised it some more, but no.... still a darn peppermint overtone... Time for a new wick and coil and a tank clean..... thats my morning gone....  I herby, decline any more reqests for menthol juices.  |

Dave ive ordered the exact same thankyou and used the discount code,(thankyou) how long roughly does it take to come from the US ? just off to buy the PROPYLENE GLYCOL, tobacco leaves, syringes, bottles, and i read about a set of mini weighing scales ! do i need these also ? |

I never use them Sadie, If you have a few different size syringes it’s all you need, make sure you get a finely graduated syringe (a 1 ml one is good - they are graduated and you can measure to 0.05 of a ml with these easily). Most recipes are measured out in ml’s |

My tobacco extract is all done and put away for a few days, a lot less messy than I thought it would be thanks Froggy, it sounded a lot more involved than it actually is once you get stuck in and follow your instructions as youbgo along |

What sort of colour is it ?
Did you get all the (visible) bits out of it? Did you pass it back through the filters a few times ?
What does it smell like now ? Grassy/Hay/Fresh opened packet of Fags type smell?
Have you done a "tip of your tounge" taste test ?
Is it bitter, but tobacco flavoured?

It's honey colour (hope it is supposed to be lol) All visible bits are out, I filtered it quite a few times and will do one last one when its finished steeping. It smells just like the leaves I bought, just sweeter. Hope my answers are how it's meant to be. |

My tobacco is sat in the bag it came in till my three days off, funny how I feel like a traitor handling tobacco !!, smells like hay/fresh cut grass currently and you do get a good amount.

Sounds good to me, It will darken a bit as it steeps....
It should smell sweet and of fresh tobacco, the sweet is the VG, thats good as it means you havent allowed it to boil, but heated it enough to evaporate the Vodka.
I have some stock thats a few months old, and it has gone very dark brown.
Did you get a good %age of juice out compaired to what you put in?
How much did you end up with?

Not sure how much I put in as I typically didn't measure, much like when I cook just followed as you said, keeping it covered, I would say I have about 60/70mls now. Defo no boiling, will check colour in a day or two and again as time goes on. |

Did you use half the leaves?
If so, that all sounds just about spot on..... same as when I do it, and mine tastes OK.... well you have tasted it so you know....
60/70 ml of tobacco extract will be enough to make you up a good 300ml of juice.... depending on how strong the extract is and how much you use.
