I have had my DID a few days and am not happy with the way I may have it set. It is on top of a Provari Mini and there is a gap of 1 1/2 cm between the top of the Provari & the bottom of the (Did) is this normal, It came ready assembled apart from wick/coil, after messing around making coils and mesh wick I got it to 2.3oms by winding 5 coils . It is running and Vaping with no error messages but I think it should be giving off more Vaper, The draw does not seem right I am used to drawing hard and if I do this I get little vaper But if I draw light I do get better vape, the hole is in line with the mesh wick, Sandra said she got hers drilled out to a larger hole Do I need to do this to get more vape, Any advice is welcome, Thanks.

Set mine up on the mini today, no gap, is your center post flush at the bottom of the did (removeable post), youre right about the hole being next to the wick is better for vapor, and further away for throat hit, some people like to enlarge the hole for more vapor but sacrifice a tighter draw, Have you removed the filler plug, this increases airflow but you dont want to be lying it on its side for too long, genesis atties will leak.

Assuming you have the three nuts that came supplied with the DID, The bottom one (Larger of the three) is only for locking off the centre post, the top two thinner nuts are for trapping your coil in (positive end), There is no wiggle room once all 3 nuts are in situation and I am perplexed as to how your centre post would stick out that far.
Currently very happy with mine tbh, very glad I ordered the clear tank though, prefer to see how much juice I have rather than wait for the burnt taste:)
Edit: I will do some research into the larger hole sizes and the effect it has on draw etc, Although I do believe Sandra has a larger air hole in her DID

Have you tried putting it down on a firm surface, and pushing down in it to get the centre post further up the tank? Will then have to screw the top nuts up tighter.

Mr. DID listened to all the whiners Blakey, He changed to SS post from brass, the bottom nut is now twice the thickness of the other 2, so less wiggle room, there is a tiny plastic ewasher to remove but without a little modification or a different nut the manouvering room decreased significantly.

Johnboy when you say 1 1/2cm are you saying your centre post is sticking out one and a half cm?

Thanks for all your help everyone, You must rearlise I did not put this togther it was all built apart from wick/coil. I do think i have them right. Brian I will now try and push down on a flat surface to see if it will come up , if it does it would then sit flush but i dont see how that would give me more Smoke, I wish i had orderd a clear tank are the hard to get?
