Sorry to hijack your thread but can someone tell me the difference between vivi novas and a cartomiser tank? (I love my vivi nova except when it gets to less than half full I get a ,LOT of dry vapes (think that's what it's called when you just get burnt taste) even when I swill my juice around I let maybe one good vape and then back to burnt taste and when less than quarter full even after swilling it just tastes burnt. Was wondering if cartomiser tank would avoid this and if anyone can recommend a good cheapish one??? i used to get this,do you keep your setup vertical when not in use?I stopped doing than and now lay it down and havent had a bad vape even when the juice is almost out. Also check your wicks to make sure they are reaching the bottom of your tank.

A cartomizer tank is just a cylindrical tank you push something like a boge cartomizer in,you need to buy either pre holed carts so the fluid is absorbed into it from the tank,or punch a hole in it yourself,it just basically means you can use a cart or much longer without the need for topping up www.vapeescape.co.uk/coloured-tanks-6ml~320

I love my Vivi Novas, but there are a couple of things I'd like to have known before I started with them.
The build quality isn't great. The first head I tried didn't work at all - couldn't suck through it - turned out to be a faulty head and had to be sent for replacement. Which would not have been a problem except that I assumed I was doing something wrong and spent hours trying to work out what. Some heads - including one of mine - let the juice leak into the centre column. There's a thread on this: General e-cig/vaping discussions :: vivi nova leaky bottom - nappy needed?
Secondly, a great way to get a lap full of juice is to unscrew the Vivi from your mod (or whatever) by holding the Vivi at the top. The tank unscrews from the base, and the base stays screwed to your mod.
With my juices the 2.4 Ohm heads work well with a standard 510 battery, but the 2.8. heads don't. That said, once you are vaping on something that looks and feels nothing like a cigarette you might as well go for a decent battery, because the vaping experience is better. The batteries will be cheaper in the long run too, because you don't charge so often. You will spend more on juice, because you'll get more vapour - which is why the experience is better,

Thanks for the advice - no I leave them lying down when not using them, wicks definitely reach bottom of tank. I think I just vape too much. I'm a chain vaper! That said when I finally get some money through I think I'll order some fresh heads and see if they help - as both of my viva's are giving me trouble - the leaking bottom thread is mine!
