Now you tell me Macca It seemed to work fine ??? the SDK is 350 mAh and the battery I used the charger on was 280 mAh, i didn't think there was much difference why is this a bad idea?

It'll work but it may not be safe..
What's the output of your Titan charger? Voltage and current?

Crikey Macca without me trying to find it i'm not sure, but I'm sure the Titans were 180 mAh. No way would I put a cig-a-like size e-cig onto a riva/ego charger I presumed that as the e-cig I bought from Des was similar in power to the SDK it would be fine. I didn't use my computer to charge it, I used my 'hub' which was plugged into an extention lead with a 3amp fuse ???

No, you misunderstand.
The output of the charger..It should be on a label on the charger..

The output on the SDK charger is DC5v 0.1A ??? I would have to go on a serious quest to find the Titan charger that I have

If your Titan charger is output 4.2 V and whatever A, it's not safe to use the SDK charger to charge the titan..
The SDK battery is of a different construction..It's a LiPo.

Sorry to test your patience Macca but I'm charging the 280 mAh I bought from Des, I don't think it's a Titan. I asked if it would be ok to use the SDK charger. I could use my Titan charger, when I find it, but I was looking at options to travel light, lol, on my break. I really don't understand the different construction and would appreciate an explanation, please

Ok found the info: It's a 4.5 volt 150 mA charger.. So the circuitry inside the Titan is expecting a 4.5 volt supply. The SDK charger supplies 5 volt and so you may end up overcharging. Here is the result of charging a ego with a SDK charger: Ego batteries are expecting 4.2 volts input.

Ok, so the SDK charger is more powerful than the ego chargers, I had no idea I have been on my quest and right enough both the ego and titan charger are output 4.2, the Titan 150mAh and the ego 500mAh. So I should only charge my SDK from the SDk charger Thanks for helping me sort that out in my slightly confuddled brain

It's not more powerful, it's the wrong voltage for the battery you have in there..It will work but you may overcharge..
It's very important to use the correct charger for the correct battery..
