Ok folks, we have update time. Some of the details are now changed, I apologise for this, but I had to find a location myself at the last minute after the potential venue fell through. The venue for the meet is The Parkfield Inn, 95 Park Lane, Whitefield, Manchester, M45 7GT www.theparkfield.com/This is a known vape-friendly establishment, for those of you travelling from further afield, it's 6 miles outside the city centre and can be easily accessed by metrolink/tram. I've spoken to the manager, and he has reserved us a small area in the pub/restaurant from 6pm on Friday 9th November. I think this is a great venue for us at short notice. I know some people were concerned about Manchester city centre on a Friday night, the Parkfield Inn will become busier later in the evening, but we have at least an area of our own. I hope this is acceptable to people. |
