clutter, i am glad you explained the the local wasn't for the pain, I was wondering whether no anesthetic would be better...........I hate the injection.........that's the worst bit for me, and I get an involuntary head wiggle or lip tremble because I am so scared, which is really embarrassing lmao and I have no control over it!!!

Try if you can to go NHS,a lot of dentist don't mention they are doing their work privately,my total costs over two sessions, which included,x rays,3 teeth removed, full clean and two small fillings is £48,root canal I had a year ago cost no more than 35 ish with the check and clean Blimey my Dentist is supposed to be NHS, I got charged £48 last month for a filling, check up and a quick dab of toothpaste and I didn't have the injection. Jules With a bit of work you probably went into band 2,the charges have gone up a bit since the last time I had work done, but I hear many people having things like root canal treatment paying in excess of 100 pounds, which makes me a bit mad as I know that these dentists are not providing NHS work www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/AboutNHSservices/dentists/Pages/nhs-dental-charges.aspx

I disagree with clutter to be honest. Even if it's to prevent bleeding it's also for pain aswell. If you went with no anesthetic you would be screaming. I'll never forget when I got my a filling without it. I still have nightmares.

Like seriously vapingjane So will teeth and gums behave as though you are not smoking atall once you start vaping or will nicotine still affect them?
