Found it..There is no option to hide or change date of birth, only the age.

Apparently hiding the age hides the date of birth from prying eyes. Will try googling in a few days and see if that does the trick. I am currently having some issues with ID theft so trying to close the loopholes.

Is that necessary ??? The threads don't give birth year ???

Please don't think I'm dismissive about Id theft - my replacement credit card has been intercepted en route & misused & my debit card was cloned at Easter, annoying, but not as difficult as Id theft.
