Hi all, I have been vaping for about 12 days now and I am utterly obsessed and in love with it......and yes I do feel that strongly about it! but I was wondering I have an ego c and I got boge 510 cartos and a stardust (I think thats what the ego clearos are called?) with my starter kit, I used both for the first week, but I have sort of naturally given up using the carto, they seem very time consuming constantly dripping liquid in them (I used the condom method then dripped as needed) why do people use cartos rather than clearos? when to me the clearo's seem so much easier? Is it a taste thing that I have missed, perhaps due to a severe lack of taste on week 1 of no fags? thoughts from you lovely people would be appreciated

Starter kits used to come with just cartos. Then earlier this year clearos were invented. Most people have switched to clearos for the ease of use, but some still prefer the taste from a carto. The starter kit gives you the option to try both and make up your own mind. I love vaping too

Clearos only really started about 6 months ago, so there are still guys who use cartos.
Most carto users, put them in a tank, which is a nicer and more convenient way of using them.
I started out with them and they were OK, but only when used with a tank. The taste is muted though. As soon as vision stardusts came on the scene I was hooked and never went back.
Kir Fanis make lovely tanks for cartos mind and they do look the business

Personally I use the stardust/ce4, i3/ce2 & a mini nova. I do have innokin cartos I got with my riva kit, but hardly use them now, as like you han, I find them too much hassle to fill. I guess it all comes down to personal taste

ty oneday........I thought maybe I was missing a trick and should go back to the cartos and try using them again, I find clearo's so much easier and don't get me started on my new LR stardust.......delightful!

I prefer the draw from a carto but get really fed up trying to keep them topped up to the perfect level. Cos I'm such a girlie, I also think a carto with a collar (on a Riva) looks nicer - or perhaps just more subtle - than a clearo with obvious juice in it.

I hate cartos. > No, I really do. The vape feels like putting a sock in your mouth. The taste from clearos feels 'cleaner', better throat hit and in my opinion a more fuller taste.

Long live the carto!!! Lol, just joking, I like the draw on cartos, lots of good vapour and I find the taste to be very good, does need to be LR or SR with high voltage though for me....
Also started using carto tanks recently and like them. I have some great rebuildables, but this last week I've been filling up some cartos and enjoyed vaping them on their own....I heard this said when I started and I didn't take much notice of it, but now I think it's key, the initial fill of a carto is very important.
Clearos are great for the convenience and do look good, but mine is reserved for early morning tobacco juice only

Love cartos in tanks, find the wicking of the novas poor,I have to leave them on their side or keep them near brimmed, otherwise you get a burnt taste, cart tank voltage up = win
