. How e-cigarettes can reduce the harm caused by smokingChannel 4 News have published an article on their blog about electronic cigarettes. They say "Persuading people to stop smoking is what anti-tobacco groups describe as the holy grail. Yet next week, there will be what amounts to an official acknowledgment that sometimes it is simply impossible to persuade some smokers to quit so, instead, there needs to be harm reduction." Next week the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) will publish draft guidance on harm reduction - which will bring e-cigs into the spotlight. The Channel 4 blog quotes ASH figures that say that 7% of smokers currently use e-cigs, up to 700,000 people. That was interesting, the major concern over e-cigs being unregulated was the concerns over the amount of nicotine content in the juice and not the health implications of vaping.

and finished.
Interesting viewpoint.
At least its out in the open now, that using an e-ciggie to cut down is better than smoking.
Lets hope the govt take notice.

If the main concern is the amount of nicotine in the juice, then thats simple.
It is one of my main concerns as well - there is not enough nicotine, it needs upping.
