Morning all, I've purchased this atomiser from www.vapingthings.com. It's actually not a bad unit especially if you like cool vape and dripping. In tank mode I found the included mouthpiece just too big/wide. So, I dumped the tank and replaced it with.....T2 mouthpiece which screw in perfectly. Now I use it for dripping. And for me it works....or it did until the coil failed after almost three weeks of use. So, to cut the long story short, my question is.... I will be ordering some more of these heads, but has anybody changed/modded coil/wick on these A5 replaceable atomisers? and if so, could they share a bit of their expertise. Thanks Attachments:

Yes..I found them naff, but it is possible to change the coil..It's originally dual coil but I have changed it single coil and occasionally use as a dripper..It's fiddly but doable if can work with small things.
They look good on a ego but that plating is impossibly thin so keep an eye on it. If you start seeing copper stop using it..
The mouthpiece is 12mm and uncomfortably huge and produces a very cold vapour. Ok if you like a cold vape I guess.. It works nice as a dripper once you change it to single coil..

Thanks Maccafan. Sounds like it's not an easy task, especially for someone who never did any recoiling. Would you say I would be better off ordering vision eternity ?

Yeah you have to uncoil the mesh around the ceramic and ground it through the mesh. After a few times, the mesh will just fall apart but they are not meant to be recoiled. Do you want a dripper only? Vapingthings have got a nice SS dripper for a very reasonable price. www.vapingthings.com/-PHOENIX_SS_REBUILDABLE_ATOMISER_WITH_EXTRAS_FROM__1599/p1311952_7880563.aspxThe RBA is a bit more versatile in that it can be used in tank mode and frogster gave it a very good review. It's also a cool vape.

Thanks chaps, I'm going to invest in Eternity. I do like A5 especially as it's got sealed 510 connector and never had any leaks. Cheers
