After loads of re-coils trying to master it my silica wick was running low,So i thought i would give the cotton wick a try... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290657103551?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649I found it easier to wrap the coil with the wick being 2mm but after an hour or so i can taste the cotton,So reverted back to the pre built silica heads that came with the nova. Should i boil this wick and would it kill that cotton taste or am i better persevering with the silica wick ??? (Better learn how to make candles with all this wick if thats the case ) Thanks.

I tried this wick, AFAIU it's completely clean wick, so no boiling needed.
I found the initial taste great, but it just couldn't keep up with my wicking needs and burnt very easily. I wonder if this is what you are tasting?

Yeah womble at first it was great then the flavour seemed muted and that cotton taste came through, No scorch marks on the wick itself.
