morning guys
just been looking on the halfords site and they have battery top up water
am i right in thinking that its the same stuff as de-ionised water and ok to use as dillutent

Yes..Tesco do it too for less I believe..Found in automobile section:
2 litres for something like a £1.00. But I only mix 30-40% VG so mix it whole..

De-ionised or distilled?
I've seen some posts saying only use de-ionised and others saying the opposite. All very confusing.

Both distilled water and de-ionized water are theoretically non-conductive and purified form of water and the purification is by different methods. However it's almost impossible to keep even purified water from auto ionizing and becoming conductive but to a lesser degree.
It's used in such small quantities, does not matter which one you use. About 5% of the mix.
De-ionised water is cheaper to buy.
