Was asked to do this by someone on YouTube for a bliSS but had sold the bliSS by the time i got round to having time to do this.
As usual it's my hap hazard approach but if you can give any hints our tips on this then please post away.

Enjoyed watching the vid Todd, never tried the PK method, must get around to that.
Showing my ignorance here but.......I would of thought that with 2 coils the ohms would of been higher, ie, double that of one coil??? How come it doesn't work that way ???

If you connect two same resistance coils in parallel effective resistance will be halved. If you connect the same two in series then it will be double. In e-cigs normally coils are connected in parallel.

This is a series circuit: Resistance one after another like stacking batteries in a torch one behind the other. This is a parallel circuit: So: Coil 1 Posi-->Coil 2 Posi-->Battery positive Coil 1 Ground-->Coil 2 Ground-->Battery Ground

Ahh thank you, suppose if I thought about it a bit more, I would of realised but that's the joy of having people like you around helping my fried brain out in times like this. Cheers Macca.

As usual it's my hap hazard approach but if you can give any hints our tips on this then please post away. Just watched it..Nice tutorial.. You could have just used a longer length of Kanthal and made both coils. That would save you the hassle of trying to trap 2 wires under the posi nut..

Would sir care to expand exactly how he would do this then?
Edit. On mobile but if you read the comments on YouTube page you'll see some more hints and tips on this.

Would sir care to expand exactly how he would do this then? Wrap the first coil from bottom to top, around the center post and then continue on and wrap the second coil downwards to the base. Would be a bugga to get right though

It's not all that hard..
Wrap the first coil and trap in the center post and hold a second cocktail stick/drill bit against the center post in a horizontal position and wrap and then insert into the hole, adjust the coils and then connect to the ground screw..

Will try later on and see how it goes. Being honest trapping the wires takes two secs, just looked like a faff as was trying to show it on camera

It's only a suggestion based on something that I would do rather than use two pieces of wire..
In my mind, it's a more elegant way of achieving the end result and nothing to do with difficulty. I agree it's not hard to trap an extra piece of wire under a nut.

Lol, elegance, now that's where we differ If it works then I'm a happy lad but as I said at the start, all for suggestions if it makes it easier for folks.

Apologies if I seemed or came across a bit short earlier on but staing that something is not all that hard when you can do it yourself Anyway got out my bed, went out and tried it with one length, took a couple of goes as a wee bit tricky getting the coils right on the 2nd hole, wrapping it round the tooth pic (or what ever you use) was testing! But Definitely a lot tidier round the top post and with a little bit of practice, easier than the way I was doing it. Thanks for all the input folks, what makes stuff like this great

That "not all that hard" was in response to Blakey's previous post speculating that it may be hard to get the second coil right.
I have done this before on my friend's cobra when I set it up for him. I haven't got a dual hole atty to put some piccys up or I would have definitely done so.
