This is probably the stupidest question but I've been vaping 18 days, used the clearomizers and last week switched to a mini nova.
Got 4 spare heads but am wondering how it is I know when the heads need changing?
Sorry if that's totally daft, just new to everything.

There's no daft questions here! You need to change it if the amount of vapour drops off noticably or if it stops working completely. I reckon on about 3 - 4 weeks. As you have a few spares you could swap one out and see what the difference is to get an idea. The juice may taste a little "funky" until you've put a tanks worth through it. You could also try rinsing a used one out under hot (not boiling) water, dry overnight somewhere warm then try it again.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I figured I'd notice something when it needed changing, flavour change etc but wanted to double check.

I tend to give mine a clean once a week and a dry burn just to keep them in trim, you will notice that after a while whatever you vape tastes a bit meh. Then it's time for either a wash or new head. As Des says, I find around 3-4 weeks seems to be about average.

For me, the taste goes and it happens much quicker than everyone else says, after a few days normally, sometimes I get a week, sometimes even two, but not often at all.
Sometimes the heads are built so badly I can only get a few hours or a day from it, these ones go into the pile to be rebuilt, the others get the silicone sleeve removed and washed in hot water, then dried naturally and reused.
