Vapesaster no.2. My mini nova won't fire. Tested it on all my batteries, tested all the batteries with cartos and attys...they're good. Any thoughts, please? ???

Does the head need replacing? Could have died.

Does the head need replacing? Could have died. Good point. I have a spare or two. Is there a clever way to swap it over without losing the liquid - like dismantling it upside down?

Obvious things to try :
-try to raise the central connector on the battery - even though your other cartomisers are working, I've found that mini-nova's are especially unforgiving with regard to this
-check that you've screwed it together properly - sometimes the atomiser inside can come loose as you fill etc
-the atomiser head might be dead - try one of the others you should have got with your mini nova
Otherwise there are far more clever people than me on here who might be able to help you....
edit - and have by the time I finished typing...!!

If the liquid level is low enough you might get away with unscrewing the head and tucking the wicks down into the juice. I use an empty 30ml dropper bottle and a tiny funnel, very quick and easy to tip out the juice do what I need to do then refill from the dropper. Pam

Hmmm. Drained it for a while (while I've been off the forum) into a small vial. Dismantled, rebuilt "outside" the casing, fired up! Re-assembled, topped up with a little liquid, still working. Dunno. The atomiser head did seem loose. Ta. * need this for tomorrow, as I'm out for 7-8 hours, don't see a carto doing that *

Atomiser heads are consumable items with a finite life. In the early days they used to pop with boring regularity you were lucky to get a few days out of them. This sort of stuff is so much more reliable these days.

This sort of stuff is so much more reliable these days. Fingers crossed it's fixed. If the replaceable heads are £2.50 or something and they are lasting better, do you think this type of clearo works out best value long-term?

You could try teasing down the center pin of your mini nova slightly with a pair of tweasers, same thing happened to me & this seemed to fix it.
