Oh what a night

Butlins for a disco inferno weekend. Was unsure what it would be like, but really Great fun. Would Defo recommend. Never been before. there's a group of 14 of us, And I have to say a fun atmosphere and lots alcohol. Crazy night last night but I've gotta recover!

jayjay, I love the Butlin's Music Weekends! We usually alternate between going to either a 60s or 70s weekend every year and then to the Rock n Blues every year. There's usually a crowd of us go, do the fancy dress thing, act very silly, have far too much to drink and have a really good time.

Did you vape inside the venues? I've been told they don't allow it so I'm planning to stealth vape as I don't fancy having to go outside in all the weather at the end of January,

Yeah I vaped all weekend everywhere. No-one said a word. But I didn't ask permission. I just went ahead with it.
Bloody excellent weekend though. And we done the fancy dress thing. We're going again next year but haven't decided on maybe do the 80's thing next time.

Glad you enjoyed it We enjoyed the 80s when we went but prefer the 60s and 70s, probably brings more memories of our youth back to us. It's a pity you didn't book your next one whilst you were there, you would have got a really good discount then.

Was pretty pants,
That purple thing is flared type hot pants. Unusual, tight but flared.
Massive collar on the shirt. Madallion. THe theme was disco inferno. Pretty pants costume but only cost 20 quid for the items you see there. And that was for keeps not rental!

Edit, my mate had a purple suit. I had leopard skin flares, but we decided to mash it up and have a brutal clash as you can see.!

You are absolutely right des. A fantastic friendly atmosphere. They have the infrastructure to cope with there eyes shut.
Would be very nice to know how they actually stand on the vaping front. But even a venue nearby for sensible discussion during the day and early evening. Followed by evening drinkee poohs and cutting some moves on the dance floors.

I vaped my Orion everywhere including that vip bar and not a sausage from any staff.
We had an after party party on the Saturday in an apartment and the security attended (a little noisy), they stayed for about 5 mins, again, not a sausage and they saw me vaping.
