1. Find an old 510 atomizer and gut it and clean it or cut off a cartomizer tube which you know to be SS and cut it to approx 22.7 to 23mm length. 510 atomizers are already the right length. Many carto tubes are magnetic so find one that find one that is non magnetic and scratch it with a knife. It should not scratch easily. Normally tank DC's are stainless and they sit in tanks. So if you are comfortable using those you should be comfortable using the tube from one of these. 2. Find two old stainless steel 510 connectors from cartos and gut and clean them and remove the center pin but leave the insulating grommets in place. 3. Tap in the 510 connectors of the tube from either end and swap the black O rings from the original center post to the 510 connectors. It will hide the airhole. Fit it all back together. The threads on both the base and top section are 510 threaded. I have used a Ikenvape tube just for demo. I don't believe this will leak as the O rings seal it pretty well.. I tried with water and it did not leak even after holding it in my hand and snapping it at the wrist.Try at your own risk if you are that fussed about the center post being plated brass. If you can find a longish 306 tube and a couple of 306 connectors the right size, it will be thinner.
