I've got to say since my move to only using clearos things have been pretty special. Currently running 3 models with 3 liquids.... Mini Vivi Nova Vision V3 Kanger T3 Splendid. Got some "replaceable" spares lined up courtesy of Vape Escape. - - - I guess time will tell if it's better value long-term than cartos. I was disappointed to lose an atomiser head on the V3 clearo (burned out) in under 5ml.....and not even 48 hours. Loving caramels but some of these are crazily sweet in a clearo. - - - Are there any common issues with certain flavours of juice or is it bad luck the V3 head didn't even outlast a carto? ???

certain flavours will crack tanks, but i'm not aware of them destroying coils, have they gunked up? if so you can clean them.

drop the v3 stick to the nova's That's what I'm thinking.... (Pity, I like the V3) "certain flavours will crack tanks, but i'm not aware of them destroying coils, have they gunked up? if so you can clean them." The juice in the V3 gets dark and gloopy pretty darn fast. Maybe this is hastening the trip to burnts-ville. In terms of cleaning a coil/wick that's suffering, would a straight remove and wash help or do I need to get into the dry burning business. Thanks....

dry burning is better, but it can destroy the carto, if you do dry burn remember to take of the inner rubber condom, melted plastic don't vape well, i've tried it

Thanks Blue. I'll see if I can get any joy from the first "dead" head and take it from there.

The nova is my main clearo to use, I have a V3/CE5 and a stack of CE2s, but my novas are by far my fave clearos. I have blown out a number of heads on my V3, and my original nova is still running it's 2nd head, over 6 weeks since I changed it. The CE2s I mainly use as an emergency backup for my backup, in case I got through 2 mini novas while out, or on my skycig batteries while driving I do have to say tho, all clearos fall short of the Aga-t and as for cartos, I can't remember the last time I used one

I have blown out a number of heads on my V3, and my original nova is still running it's 2nd head, over 6 weeks since I changed it. Thanks for taking an interest. Some time spent just now in the Vaporium (loft/office) dismantling stuff reveals a 2nd V3 head with a deeply charred wick. The coils themselves look fairly healthy. So, my conclusion is that as I've been rotating all 3 clearos since last Friday (one week) and the mini vivi had already done 2+ weeks, then clearly the mini and the T3 don't suffer such premature burning problems unless it's just a juice thing. I can see my 5-pack (V3 heads) lasting about 10 days tops, and that's only vaping 1/3rd of the time! Disappointing. Maybe I could try the V3 clearos on my spinner at the lowest setting? They obviously don't wick fast enough for my vaping style.

A sugary juice will kill an atty head more quickly as they caramelise on the coil, either buy less sweet juices or more heads Failing that cleaning and dry burning may be a better answer.
