Kindle fire HD or google nexus ?

I bought a 10.1 inch tablet based on reviews on amazon and well it's shit and the ear phone jack is knackered so been offered a full refund. So I want something quick that isn't going to force close etc use for watching movie and tv so decent steaming needed etc and decent touch capability for drawing apps help please techies

Google Nexus all the way, just been updated to Jelly Bean 4.2 has a great free TV watching app. Perps has also got one and likes it. Most of the software you need you can get free versions. As a Nexus device it will always be updated quickly. Only thing is a smaller screen, but the display is beautifully detailed and pin sharp (it has an independant graphics chip).

Just bought a samsung galaxy tab 2 10 inch from pcworld for £269 with a £12 case as you can claim £80 cash bck.
Great tablet and the 10 inch screen is great so glad i paid abit extra for the bigger screen.

Plus everything kindle is locked down to amazon, amazon don't yet have the content to justify it. Very happy with my nexus7
