Hello again from me with another review on one of Alchemists' juices, this time its the Rhubarb Crumble & Custard. This is the 2nd of 3 bottles that I am tasting/reviewing for Alchemist Cupboard and were sent free of charge for the purposes of a review. 18mg nicotine 70/30 PG/VG 5mls Again the bottle was securely sealed with a childproof top, the labelling has the ingredients and the usual warnings. The liquid is not quite as dark as the previous juice I reviewed and on opening and sniffing, a very nice aroma comes from the bottle, quite mouthwatering. Now for tasting this juice I am using a Twist set at 4.0 and a vision v3 with a 2.4 head On inhaling you are struck by the tartness of the rhubarb............ not too tart mind you and a nice taste of sweetness of the crumble. On the exhale you get these 2 flavours mixed with a smooth taste of custard............ a very nice combination and sits well in the mouth, altogether very mouthwatering and moreish Again the vapour is good, plenty of it and its not drying in the mouth, in fact I'd say that its quite a moist vape. I would also say that this is a juice that has a very pleasant aftertaste, you can taste all 3 flavourings after you have put you device down. It also lingeres in the air This juice is definately a "comfort food" vape, great for dull, dark, rainy days when you just want to curl up or snuggle down, this is perfect for it. it reminds me of when I was a kid and having this as dessert, it takes me back to those days. And the added bonus is............... NO CALORIES so curl up and tuck in to this winner

Alchemists Rhubarb Crumble and Custard - 18mg – 70pg/30vg
Tested in a Nova with a 2.4 coil on a gripper at 3.7v
Flavour: The initial flavour from this sweet but not sickly liquid is of the old rhubarb and custard sweets. The crumble flavour is subtle but may come through after a longer steep. I upped the volts to 4.3 and the crumble was more pronounced.
Vapour: This liquid produces plenty of vapour.
Smell: The scent is sweet and rhubarby (is that a word?!).
Throat Hit: Adequate throat hit.
Verdict: A pleasant sweet vape that brings back memories of childhood sweeties.

Frogster seems to have the sweetshop nailed, his pear drops is just like the sweetie version I remember, waiting for a blackcurrant & liquorice now

My other half named the sweet just from the smell of the vapour in the air!

Sent to me free of charge by alchemist cupboard to taste and review I am a big fan of rhubarb and custard in any form but this is a dessert not the sweets type Opening I performed the sniff test as always, gorgeous smell of fruitiness and a bit of vanilla I popped it into a mini nova 2.8 head to this was very enjoyable a taste of homeliness in a vape, definite taste of rhubarb and the custard sweetness coming through, on the exhale I picked up the crumble too I like this very much but for my own taste I would like more rhubarb flavour but taste is very personal and I would try this as it is made first as I may just be a bit weird BC

I too received this juice from Frogster to review. Initially I was having trouble with it, but I have now discovered that this was down to a dodgy vivi nova head rather than the juice. I'm delighted, as I've always loved the traditional puddings (jam roly-poly, spotted dick, etc) and was really looking forward to this. The rhubarb flavour is unbelievably authentic; you would have no hesitation in knowing what you were vaping. The potential tartness of the rhubarb is nicely offset by the custard and crumble flavours which modify rather than overpower it. A very realistic flavour that brings back memories of times past - a definite thumbs up

After 2 days I couldn't wait Slightly fruity and a liitle tart on the inhale. Then a creamy custard flavour with a hint of crumble, all that's missing is the crunch of the crumble. Fantastic stuff. Now what I want to know is how many people like this: 080719 "You're turning Violet, Violet!" by Kerry'sWorld, on Flickr has Frogster got concealed in his cellar?
