The US and German ones may be different. For a start the US ones come in a box with "Made in China" on the side. Mine was just wrapped in bubble wrap.

Also, the ceramics may be different. The one in mine is exactly the same as the original V1 ceramics. Macca thought his may not be the same because it didn't feel fully ceramic. I sent him an original V1 ceramic to compare it to. He may have got it today.

If you look at the picture of the top of the mouth piece on the Stormy site and the Alibaba one, it almost looks like it is made of two tubes, one inside the other. Mine looks more like the original. Just one solid part. It could just be a bad picture or an early prototype.

Tobeco could have just picked up on all the interest in the clone and decided to do their own.

It does look like there's 2 different clones going around to me. I was just thinking of the differing ceramics Steve which does suggest different manufacturers.

There was also a rumour that the first batch were using real ceramics purchased from one of the GG sites. Later batches could be using their own copy ones.

you're right about the tips too it does look like a tube within a casing, on the smaller one it looks like it's threaded too.

The one I got from SVC has the notches for purchase..You wouldn't be able to tighten it down and unscrew it otherwise...

The Tobeco one is different..I am 99% sure it isn't ready yet regardless of it being plastered all over Alibaba..Details forthcoming in Jan.

theyre doing a co-op at ecf for it, maybe from tobeco, not got access to the co-op section there so dunno
