My thoughts are in a similar vein to Dave's charliehorse . . . for us there will be ' workarounds ' one way or another. For those new to vaping or considering switching from tobacco it's a different story. Make our pleasurable activity too costly, then where's the incentive for anyone? Other than to encourage the growth of black markets where sub-standard products could potentially be available. Am I happy? Doesn't take too much thinking about to give a categoric NO on just about everything since the GE.   |

Thank you for the information MrDJ . . . as depressing as it is. How quite this affects us as a vaping forum I'm not certain, would we still be classed as ' social media ' . . . additionally unlike maybe some others, we don't have any paid for ads. Another question this poses, how would our Vendors be affected - would their posts come under the scope of this ban, as any of their content is actively sought out by members/guests looking for specific information. Although perhaps erring on the side of caution I need to remove our pinned Discount Code threads. Many are probably defunct anyway now. I'd be interested to know what others think - although 6 days doesn't give us much time for thought! |

Well that made for depressing viewing  . . . two things I care passionately about, bull breed dogs and vaping are/have been massively targeted by our excuse of a Government - Labour will be no better when they form the next Government. I've no problem with underage vaping being tackled, although kids will be kids . . . make anything a ' forbidden fruit ' and it immediately becomes more attractive to experiment with. Us long term vapers can still find a work around, even if we have to return to our mixing roots and source flavours from Home Baking suppliers. It's inconvenient, but doable. Those who will really suffer curbing the sales of short and long fills are ex-smokers, newer to vaping. What will they do, return to smoking? For any Government to hope to make this country smoke free, they're living in a fantasy world . . . the Tories are rushing through restrictive legislation as they see it as being a vote winner for them at the next General Election.  Shame not as much effort is being put into addressing issues the majority of us feel are more significant and should be taking priority.  |
