Yes han... It's difficult trying to light a weco firefighter with an ego twist :/ easy if you think about it though and probably more reliable than a lighter if its windy. just have a nova head without the tube connected to the battery and make a coil without a wick which sticks out too far!

Hmmm, that gives me an idea to try next year... I've been dying to setup an electronic firing board for fireworks. So I can set them all up before, and fire them in sequence, without a lighter. Problem is that the only way I could find of doing it with consumer fireworks was with something called "E-matches" (I think that's the name) basically wire all the ematches to your firing board, connect battery, and connect the ematches to the fuse on the fireworks.... but these ematches are disposable, and quite expensive. Whereas the firing board is a case of a piece of wood, some nails, a battery and some wire... I wonder how coils of kanthal would work around a firework fuse instead of ematches **A quick google indicates that this is exactly what some people have been doing, thanks chiller for putting me onto that, should be great fun next year no massive 'lighting' gaps between effects... lighting a firework with an ego, who'd have funk it, lol.
