please explain ego twists to me!

Hi everyone, sorry to be a bit slow here but I am a little confused.....as usual!,
I am looking at maybe getting an ego twist as I have heard good things about them, and I have read a few different threads and I understand that they are vv so I can adjust the voltage myself,
does that mean I can use a SR clearo and not need an LR anymore?
also does that mean I can't and shouldn't use an LR clearo or is it just not necessary?
could someone explain the do's and dont's and the pro's and con's of ego twists to me please

Yes, sr clearos will work well on the Twist, just turn the voltage up until you get it how you like it.

There's no reason that you can't use lr but would start with the voltage turned right down then only up it by tiny bits until you get it right!

It may not be *that* accurate, but I looked at it before jumping onto the VV bandwagon.

I've not tried a 1.8ohm carto with my spinner on anything but the lowest two settings.

Personally, I find the SR carts (boge ones) fabulous at 4.2v.

thanks dj that's really helpful, so I can still twiddle around with my SR and LR clearos and a vv to get a better vape, but I am much more likely to find the sweet spot being able to twiddle voltage and ohms.........omg I think that made sense.........or is that totally wrong? (btw I have never used the word twiddle before but it's all I could come up with!)

I havent tried a twist but i did research them before i bought a LT.In my opinion the LT is a lot easier to use as it has a nice clear LED display unlike the Twist.Also i like the size of it and as its a SS one its a nice weight as well,plus they look good with clearos and Vivi Novas.SWMBO was using my ego c and wasnt getting on so i got her a Mini LT which she loves.I also have a ZMAX but i am rapidly coming around to the fact that i prefer my LT LOL

hooray I got it finally that's only taken me 7/8 weeks! and I am eyeing up the purple twists on pure vapour, I don't think they are in stock for another week though, otherwise I could well be ordering now! and maybe I could have an LT and a twist just for review purposes????

the led display appeals to me actually and if they do a mini version, I shall have a look, I am put off when batterys are too big!
