This all makes me so angry. It feels like they are telling you that you are not worth it. Your pain and suffering is not important. I feel so sorry for you. Why can't they use common sense? Very often these treatments that they say they cant afford will, in the long run, save them a hell of a lot of money!! Especially on years and years of expensive drug treatments etc.
Don't get me started on NHS staffing. My husband has been a nurse for 30yrs. Do you know the NHS has so drastically cut their permanent nursing staff that they can't cope anymore. Soooo, what do the brainless beaurocrats do? Make private nursing agencies VERY rich drafting in agency nurses ALL the time!! My husband can make more than double the NHS hourly rate working through an agency as opposed to the NHS. I am not going to tell you what the agencies make from each placement as people would not believe me!!

Makes me sick... oh dear. I've turned this into a rant LOL SORRY

Hi Dolly,
I suffer with spinal stanosis and use Durogesic patch ( Fentanyl ) 75 mcg/hr and have done for years the pain is
terrible but worse in the winter so then i top up with paracetamol.

Between my back and chest problems my family call me a walking chemist, hope you feel better soon dolly.

Both have similar problems. COPD and spine. You aren't diabetic too are you?

No not having a good night tonight. Thanks for asking.
My morphine patches only last 3 days and then have to be changed. I always find that my pain is worse on the 3rd day. Also plays up till new one sinks in a bit.

Nothing anyone can do, but you are a sweet heart thank you.
I am going to try to get some sleep now as my daughter is taking me out in the morning. Even if i get 3hrs it will keep my eyes open till i get back home.
