Hi Guys, I’ve been using 18mg nic strength (or there abouts) but I’m finding that at times I find myself puffing away on my Riva thinking about cigarettes, and happy as I am that I’ve not actually felt the need enough to actually go back to the horrible things, I’m wondering if I upped my nic level whether this would help? All this nic strength malarkey is quite confusing tbh. Will using a higher strength affect the flavours of the liquid? Or will a higher strength just make me feel dizzy? Cheers.

It won't affect the flavour Cambo, but you will get a better throat hit and it should temper your cravings. Why not get some 24mg in a couple of your fav juices to use when the need is greatest?

Thanks (again) oneday, that's exactly what I was thinking of doing, I just didn't want to go and order them and then find that it's greatly changed the flavour, or might make me feel ill. I've still not found my perfect 'all day' vape juice yet, but i'm thinking of trying a few different tabacco ones, and will order 10ml in 24mg to see how I get on with them and then order a bigger bottle of whichever I find I prefer.

Someone else was on about this in another thread--Its easy up your nic levels and you will find it easier to say no.

Yeah, I just didn't know if upping the nic would affect the juice itself though. But it would seem it doesn't make a difference so that's all good. I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

I always use 24 or 36 mg juice, but don't continually puff at it! I found when I started that continually puffing because I wasn't getting enough of a hit was what made me dizzy. It is not just the nic level though, it is also the power you vape at. Might be worth trying higher voltage and/or lower resistance 'misers.

My new plan is to get a twist (was going to get a spinner, but keep hearing bad reports about them!) and a few different tobacco juices at 24mg.

OK, so today i've taken delivery of some 24mg nic juice. I've bought a small bottle of HS Impulse to try too, so i'll see how i get on with this. Twist is still being contemplated...

I have both the genuine Twist and Spinner, I prefer the Spinner as it is much easier to see the and change the settings. The Twist is so difficult to see the voltage markings when you want to change the settings.

Thanks for the input guys, appreciated, as I'm still debating the whole twist/spinner thing right now. But for anyone who wants a baccy flavour liquid I can honestly say, having now tried the HS Impulse, it's the most ciggy like juice I've tried yet. So much so in fact that I'm not actually sure I like it! I'll give it another try in a couple of days but it really does taste like a real cig to me, and now I've found that, I'm not sure I actually want it lol.

Cambo - I know what you mean, a mate of mine who i converted to vaping recently tried some tobacco juice (I forget what it was now!) and although it tasted quite authentic, I wasn't that enamoured with it because it tasted too much like the real thing! I've always had a sweet tooth and have decided that I like dessert type flavours with custard and cheesecake in the name, so have moved right away from tobacco taste. The way I look at it, I get the sweet taste without the calories - result!!

I was convinced when I started vaping that I didn't want ciggy flavoured juice, so I originally ordered loads of sweet flavours, cinnamon, vanilla, coffee etc, but my OH keeps nicking my spare Riva and he only wanted ciggy flavour juice, so I got him some Gold & Silver and would occasionally have a puff on it myself. However, just lately my taste buds have been having one of their odd phases, and I’ve been using the ciggy flavour more and more to the point where I’ve stopped vaping the sweet ones as they now seem to taste too sweet. So I decided to go on a mission to find a real ciggy-like flavour - well, I’ve found it, but now I have I don't like it! Hahaha. Typical.

El Toro Cigarillos, the most cig-a-like juice I've tried without being ashtray-like I too steered clear of juices that tasted like cigs when I first started vaping, but after a while found myself craving for a tobacco type and that's when I found the El Toro
