Well today I've only had one cig! I didn't realise till I was going out with the dogs and didn't reach for a cig! I have vaped alot! But woo I'm going to try the same tomorrow

Hehe thanks guys I was aiming for 2 but I do want to stop the cigs completely so if I can manage 1 a day then it's better than the 3 a day I was on.

If it makes you feel better I have had 2 today after 3 days not having any, but way better than the 15 a day I was having 9 months ago , I can take them or leave them now

I have been very lucky. I have managed to convince my brain that when i am vaping i am really smoking and have managed not to touch a cig since i started which, believe me, is extraordinary to me and everyone i know!!

Well done dolly! Now that I've thought about it I want one lol but I'm not going to. I'm laid in bed vaping away much better than going out in the cold and wet!

Nooooo!! you stay in bed where it's warm. Anyway, as my 5yr old grandaughter says. The midnight monsters come out at 12 o'clock so you musn't get out of bed LOL

arghhhh! I have 3 cats and a dog. my big fat long haired ginger tom insists on laying on my legs if i forget to close my bedroom door it drives me nuts. One night i forgot to shut the door and woke up at 3am with the ginger on my feet. the dog on my husbands pillow (he was working nights) and one of the other cats wrapped around the top of my head

When I was getting into bed last night it suddenly came to me that I no longer have to go around the house checking that all the ashtrays have no burning cigarettes in them. We don't even have ashtrays these days.

Like I haven't needed to do that for 4 months now, but I had not thought about that until last night.

There are so many things that I don't need to be concerned with now, like fag ash under the keys on my keyboard, burn holes on my shirt front, running out of fags after the shop has shut (I have 3 months supply of e-juice), running out of lighter fuel and flints, or nightmares of falling asleep on the chair or in bed with a lit cigarette in my hand.
As an ex-fireman, I have seen the effects of the last one.

Smoking, like vaping, involves so many other parts of our lives and sitting here, looking back on the last 4 months and comparing it to the previous 50 years of being addicted to fags, everything I have done around my vaping hobby has been positive and almost everything I did around smoking would now appear to be negative.

Oh well, if gawd gives me 50 years of Vaping, I will enter the Pearly Gates aged 115.
