I want some new 16340 batteries for the Screwdriver that I have and the 510 one I'm getting from Manicmedic on here. I trawled around Ebay of all places and found these advertised as "Ultrafire 16340 CR123A 880mAh 3.7V Rechargeable Li-ion Battery". The ones I have don't mention the CR 123A bit so are they the same battery? I would like to keep my business with Trog and his people but at 4 for half the price of two what can I do!
Please forgive me if I am missing something obvious but I don't want to have them explode in the Screwdriver or the Charger.

The obvious that you are missing is that any battery ending in fire is likely to be cheap for av reason  Personally, I would leave it where it is  |

Dog if they're 16340 they should fit. However - *fire batteries are generally thought to be pretty crappy, and a lot are cheap clones apparently. You get what you pay for with this stuff and if it's going in your face.....

I think at £4-69 for four of them I'll get some as a "Back up of a back up of a back up" etc and bite the Bullet with a pair of decent quality ones. Trog does them at £9-99 fior two but they are a Summat Fire as well so are there any other GOOD sources that people know of?

It's Ebay I ordered these from. They might arrive in a year or so as I only realised aft6er I got the confirmation mail that they are from Hong Kong!  One day I will learn to look before I leap.. Maybe! |

Sorry pedaldog I thought you wanted the 18650, I don't think Panasonic do the 16340 size in rechargables.

well i'm probably wrong here but i thought that the screwdriver took 18350 batteries? mine did.
is it some special one pedaldog?
