Hello everybody! I've already presented myself in other topic but I really like myself so I thought I could use my own topic ! lool just kidding, but after wandering in the forum It felt to me more like a family then a forum, so I decided to create this topic, not only to let you all know a bit more about me, but also about what I intend to get on my first purchase what I expect to get, what I can give etc! As I've said before, my real name is Aldo Cardoso and I'm 23 years old. I'm about to finish my graduation on Management, but meanwhile I started working in consulting/account audition. I'm about to become an insurance agent and I have the Proficiency in English as a Foreign Language level from Cambridge (unfortunately I don' practice that much). My fav hobbies are mountain biking and poker... I've been smoking for 8 years now, and right now I smoke about 10-15 luckies a day I guess! I knew about e-cigs for the first time about a year ago but I looked a bit over it although I kept it in mind... Last week I bought one "e-cig" at a chinese store for 10€, just to try out and get a bit of the feeling... for the price I can say it was actually pretty good, I expected a lot worse. Anyway, I threw it away, because it didn't have a manual instruction whatsoever, and I'm a bit afraid of what cheap chinese things may contain. I started looking for websites and forums on the Internet 'till I found ECF and met Chrissie, who was incredibly helpful! I registered here and never plan to leave now. lool well, and this is my biography ! I'm sorry for all the talk, let's get to business. As anyone who might have visited my thread at ECF (and I know some of you did thanks ) I have already e-mailed them and my plan is to order from LF and as soon as possible the following material: 1x Riva 510 - Special Edition/Lite Bundle 1x eGo XL 900 mAh batt 1x 510 LR atty 1x 510 regular atomizer 1x Drip Tip 10x Boge 2,0 Empty Cartomizers 5x 510 1,7 Cartomizers what do you think? Chrissie already said it was a good shopping list ahah so I expect you to respect the Admin ! loool now seriously, if you think I could add/remove anything important (apart from e-juices off course xD), or even substitute feel free, I'm more than available to learn ! Also, one or two questions left... How do you fill in the Cartos? Are they worth? Should I get one or two more attys for prevention? plz feel free to answer, comment or just make fun if you feel like it ! I really enjoyed the familiar environment around the threads and I also can't resist a good laugh ! I plan to spread vaping a lot here in Portugal and among my friends! If it meets my expectations it will be THE success ! stay cool, Aldo

Aldo, it looks like a good shopping list to me. I wouldn't be critical even if I didn't agree, because we all are different. What is good for one person, may not be good for another person. So, as you progress in your vaping experience, try different things and find out what is best for you. In case I didn't say it before, welcome to the forum. Jerry

Aldo, when I bought my first e-cig over 2 & half years ago, there was so little choice & so little help. Things have changed so much - mostly for the better. However, I do think it has got even more confusing for people starting out.

We all did look like a 5 year old, Aldo. Many of us like to try different things, even after having vaped for a while. I started vaping, almost a year and a half ago and I thought I was perfectly happy with my Joye 510, until I bought an eGo. I was perfectly happy with the eGo, until I bought a Boge Leo. Now I am perfectly happy with the Leo.......until something else comes along. LOL.

Chrissie, it has become confusing even for some of us veteran vapers.

Chrissie, it has become confusing even for some of us veteran vapers. I agree Jerry There are so many new products/mods coming on to the market every day it's impossible to keep up with them all

I don't even bother trying to keep up with them anymore. That's one reason that I don't get too involved in the technical side of the forums.
