Hello Friends
I'm new here and have posted a few questions in the newbie section,about the safety aspect of Eciggys.
But its to ask what is the best E ciggy to buy as I would like to top up my own juice as opposed to buying cartridges. There seems to be some super flavours out there! But being a menthol smoker I would prefer to replicate my smoking experience as much as possible.
Be patient with me as I'm new to vaping too! lol

I have the nicolites disposable one, as I wanted to go for the cheaper option 1st to see if it was for me or not.
I seen it has PG in it and it made me apprehensive though ???

Not thick at all. There's a lot to take in at first Nell . . . depending on how many ciggies a day you smoke, I'd suggest going for an 18mg/24mg strength if you're a moderate to heavyish smoker.

Here's a demo video of a Riva 901, essentially the same as the Riva 510 except with this type of atomiser you get tend to get more flavour from the ejuice you use.

Most of us try both types of atomiser at some point, some vapers have a preference, others will happily use both.

Hi nell, you are a menthol smoker,try this when you now what strength of juice you like ie 16mg 18mg etc
Purchase some non-flavored e-juice from any good vendor sells it, it usually comes in a very high strength around 54mg, dilute it with either VG (vegetable glycerine)available from any vendor or I get mine from a supermarket or PG(propylene glycol) you can get this from most vendors, or a mix of both, VG gives the juice a slightly sweet taste and give you plenty of vapour, PG gives you a better throat hit but a little less vapour, when you have found what we all call your 'base mix'ie the strength of ejuice you require then its time to add your flavour, as I stated at the start of the post, you are a 'menthol smoker', go to the chemist and ask for some menthol crystals not the ones you put in the bath lol, well you could but it may smart, then pour a bit of PG into a empty juice bottle(clean) and add a couple of crystals to it they will then dissolve in the PG hey presto your own 'menthol flavor' juice, all you have to do next is get a small amount of your base mix 3 ml or 5ml better to mix a small amount first you may not like it and you will end up throwing it away, and put a few drops (1-3 at a time) of your menthol flavour juice to it, put a couple of drops directly onto your atomizer and have a vape if the juice is ok then you have made your very own 'menthol flavour e-juice if it is not the flavour you require keep adding a drop of flavoring to it until you achieve your required flavour.
A word of advice the longer you leave the mix the stronger flavour it will become, and also be very very careful of using the high strength nicotine, or any strength nicotine, if you spill it on your hands wash it off straight away,

Hi Tony, thanks for that, I have used menthol crystals many times at home when myself or my son has colds as we "vaporise them" (towel over the head whilst inhaling them in hot water) so at least I know they are safe to inhale .
Im still getting used to the Ecig thing and trying to figure out if it is for me as RE my other post, I tried vaping and took a fag right after

You need to get the strength of your juice right, its like smoking roll ups then smoking a menthol afterwards you wouldnt taste it, I started on 36mg because i did smoke roll ups a lot of roll ups, but as soon as vaped at that strength I have never wanted a cig, its all trial and error nell just perceiver with it, we are all here to help Tony

Once I get the correct Ecig I think I will be OK Tony, its like anything new at the start, then once you are used to it it becomes 2nd nature

I too started with a disposable. It wasn't very good and tasted pretty horrible but was very useful in that it inspired me to progress with vaping x
