Sorry for the delay Dolly, have had my head up my a**e this morning.
Please don't let anyone mess around with high amp circuits as they can get quite severe injuries.
These answers may not help as without getting my mitts on the car electrical faults are a nightmare!
The multitude of warning lights is indicative of a short or more likely a lack of voltage. Most of these circuits use voltage as a means of testing the circuit, low voltage = warning light comes on even if the circuit is fine.
A failing alternator can on occasion suck the life from your battery or push out a massive over voltage causing things to blow.
IMHO and with regard to what you have said I would be looking at the ignition switch first as this was my first thought on the matter (not just the mechanical switch on the front but also the multi plug on the back).
Next, alternator output and battery condition, either will tell a story about the other.
Next, the loom can wear at pinch points or where it passes through the bulkhead causing a short.
It realy is a job for a very competent DIY mechanic or a proper workshop.

Thank you so much Raid for taking the time to help. Yes, from what you have said i think we will have to leave it to an auto electrician. OH has no clue at all with cars. He is a forensic psychiatric nurse. Great with minds crap with mechanics
