carto tanks are great ...never had a leak apart from the odd bit when refilling

I really hate the DCT myself. It was my 1st mod on my 1st ego battery and except the drain on battery life, I got on well with it. Things went bad as soon as I upgraded to this new magical thing I had heard so much about called Variable Voltage and invested in a Ego Twist 1100mah.
I got my battery life back but I got problems from the dreaded "burnt taste" to leaking everywhere.

The concept is great though, all the full flavour benefits from a carto with the added bonus of a tank.

I think since my early days of vaping and from what I have learnt, If I gave it another shot, I bet I would get on just fine with it once again although now, I just don't fancy the "DC" bit, I would rather have a 2.4ohm SCT if such thing exists lol

The DCT i think are really great and i have had no leaking. I would recomend them to anyone. Fill and vape.

Fill the carto the first time with the condom method and fill the tank like in the pictures but use a needle bottle cap as its is less messy. After the first tank fill, drip 6 ish drops in the top of the carto after filling the tank and that will help wet the carto wadding quicker.

About to order some duel holes (with other bits ) cartos tonight so i can use them again. I have missed vapeing them the last few weeks. No worries of wicking and i found they are so much less hassle as wicks and coils sometimes can be.

PS if you ever buy cartos that are too long for the tank still use them. They look untidy but still wick really well.

I didn't do any of that
I just shoved some liquid in the middle bit. Then put some more in the tank and vaped. I don't even know what the condom method is, so I followed some instructions on the vape escape links. Whups

Weeks Comfrey with two on the go but they do drop off so you know when they are getting past their best.

You can fill by taking the top off the tank and pushing it back on but you then flood the centre air way and juice comes out the battery end of the carto. A bit messy.

The only reason i have not used them again for a while is i'm trying everything eles on the market lol

Sorry missed read your post Comfrey. There isn't a wrong or right way really as long as the carto is juiced up. Just messy and not messy.

The carto with the flange is ‘dual coil’

The cartos without the flange are XXL low resistance single coil boge, be careful you don’t push these straight off the tank as there’s no flange to act as a stop, I punched the boge cartos myself & the hole in these is bigger than the pre-punched cartos & depending on the viscosity of your juice they can sometimes wick/flow a little too well.

Love my Ashley tanks with a standard resistance boge,despite all my other stuff,its this that gets used the most,filled with a menthol mix on my tin mod you can turn the volume up on a boge without any trouble and get a great lifespan out of them
