DCT??

Ok am I right in thinking a DCT tank is a carto with a tank/tube thingy me bob?? What are they like and would they stop me having to take a bottle of juice to work? Most importantly do they leak? Are they ok getting tipped every which way in my bag like a carto can put up with?

I used carto tanks for a while and got on ok with them . I did have to slot the cartos rather than rely on the tiny pre-punched hole. But after trying the mini vivi-nova I would recommend those over carto tanks anyday.

as for not taking a bottle of juice to work with you , well, that depends on how heavy a user your are. The 3.5ml version should be ok for most. Vaperstall do a huge 8ml version but that's a beast of a size. the vivi nova mini is 2ml but looks grand on an ego.

I really love cartos and haven't really managed to get on with anything else so I thought a carto tank would be best for me. Anything with wicks I don't seem to like.

I often use DCT tanks, quite like them and so long as you make sure the flanged bit is firmly in it's place they don't leak. This is what I have

I’ve never had a tank that leaked, maybe I’m lucky.

I have a 6ml tank that I got free with a bolt kit from Vape Escape that I’ve never used, I prefer the shorter 3.5ml tank that I use with std size boge cartos.

You can have it FOC if you like, there’s a DC carto that comes with it & I’ll also punch an XXL LR boge carto for you to try, be aware though that the XXL boge has no flange at the bottom & you'll need your own drip tip.

The only downside with this tank is that it’s orange!!!

Lol thanks very much 300 I will certainly pm you! Do I need a flange? And if so where do I get one? I have several drip tips I'm assuming it's a 510 I'll need?

The flange is part of the carto re the link I sent you. It just makes the carto more secure in the tank. Without a flanged carto your best to use a ming vase shaped 510 drip tip which will help stop the carto slipping!

I think Karma explained the flange thing pretty well

I actually have 2 of these so maybe comfrey or someone else would like to take the other one? This one has had a couple of tanks of juice run through it but the cartos will be new / unused.

I used to vape with DCT not long after i started vaping had no problem
with them leaking as long as you do what Karma said you'll be OK Pixi.
