Kickit I have considered all sorts of things causing it because like you said it's not often mentioned so perhaps not everyone suffers with it, I am wondering is it possible that I take too long a drag on my ecig and that's what makes it happen?

People, you need to tilt your clearos, novas, visions a little more frequently so that the juice can get to the coil. Even on the long wick versions.

Could it be something like I get,one minute your juice is fine, next minute the nicotine seems to take over the flavour for a period, nothing to do with burning anything or getting dry spots, just a sudden change of tastes, goes away and the same atty and e juice are fine

I wish that the answer were as simple as tilting the clearo or getting a sudden nicotine hit, but as I am a habitual "tilter" and I'm vaping zero nic, I'm afraid it doesn't seem to be either of the above. I don't take particularly long draws. In fact, sometimes when I am watching video demos of different kit, I marvel at the length of draws other people take. If I even tried to do that, I'd turn purple and explode! This is a little bit like what happens when you are having computer or car problems and you've done all the obvious stuff but when you phone the helpline they ask you to check that you have petrol or whether your laptop is plugged in.

I know exactly what you mean kickit and the taste is disgusting when it happens, thankfully, not too often, but a good swoosh round of the tank usually cures it for me.

Maybe the answer is burning then, here's an example from my kit,two Vision V3s one standard 2.4 wick one taken apart and re wicked and coiled, the re-coiled,1mm wick producing four strands and 0.20 Kanthal wire,I can hit it and hit it (chain vape it) and it will always produce, the standard head 2.4,hit it hard and you have to keep tipping it and waiting otherwise it will just be a plastic bung taste, unfortunately all these great vision products and others fall short on the wicking

Could it be a particular brand of liquid that you are using?
I ask this because I am having the same problem, I bought new packs of Boge sr carts and filled them condom method, but for some reason they don't hold the juice very well as the juice is very runny, have contacted the vendor who says he has not changed the receipe and no one has complained about his liquids. Is it the liquids or the Boge carts? Can you get bad batches of Boges? I have never had any problems with them before?

I don't know, Phoenix...I'm vaping different liquids from a variety of sources, and some homebrew. It doesn't seem to matter. But someone with superior knowledge may know some science.
