The Vamo Has Landed

My first of 2 arrived at lunchtime...........12 days from ordering.....Haven't tried it yet.........Just admiring it's shininess.....

*Can someone guide me to the link on how to turn it on & set it...............Light up for a second when I tighten the base up, but then nothing..............

Just got mine too, in 12 days...
At first I was very lost with it, been used to my L-Rider lava tube for a few months not, so this is taking some getting use to, but so far so good.
Strange how after you let go of the button after a vape it still fires for a second....scared me the first time I used it...

Once worked out, I think this menu is more straight forward than any others.

I agree Sandra, you can get at what you want very easily with the Vamo without having to scroll through a menu of items that you hardly ever need!

mine arrived today as well, however i think it may have become over heated? the display went blank nothing worked, changed batts no differant, left it a while and is now working again. Was only vaping at 5.5 watts with a 1.6 coil? currently doing more testing The battery end did become warm, warmer than the coil end, which is strange, was and am using an efest 18350 800 mah.

That's the classic sign of a short..

If you are using flat top batteries check the inside of battery bay to make sure your insulator ring preventing the flat top from grounding is secure.

Edit: just read of a similar battery for the vamo that came with the starter kit, ukvapers.org/Thread-Exploding-Battery

doesnt sound too promising, Could have been the charger or battery that caused the initial fault in that case, i wonder if yours is the same battery.
Apparently the battery blew off the charger and "disappeared" somewhere

Thats the problem sometimes with the start kits coming with cheaper end batteries.

Always good either way to charge and if possible also store the batteries in this safe chaging bag

^ lol, yeah i'll try it out in 18650 mode tomorrow, see if it's the same like that, actually now you got me thinking i wonder if the battery was a bit low? Just put the other battery in and now it's coming up with lo, so yes that ones flat, i think most of the heat must be coming from my mits due to chain experimenting lol anyhow bed now
