Remember when I 1st got my LT chrome and all I did was moan about it's poor battery life? Well I take it back. Ever since I have added the extender cap and a Panasonic 2250mah LiNiMnCoO2 (NMC) battery it's done nothing but get better and better. For the 1st 2 weeks, I charged it every single night regardless of remaining charge (usually 3.8v/3.9v) but now, I'm letting it get to about 3.5v before charging it which is normally 3 days! That's using a 2.4ohm atty at 4.1v - 3.5ml / 4ml a day! Even under load, when it's low, it's still preforming better than it should! You can keep you IMR's, NMC all the way for me!!!

hehe sounds great, those pannys are really good. They use them in the AW's I heard, definitely can last for ages, I used to charge at 3.4 but now at 3.7 as apparently it makes em last longer in the long run, but it does meaning more charger visits. The chrome does sound better constructed than the old black tubes

The life span on a NMH battery is meant to be much longer than any other current type of Li-ion batteries and considered safer than IMR too. I used to feel my old Totaly Wicked 18350 900mah LCO's getting hot when used for more than 5 min, I've not even noticed a slight temperature change with my Panasonic NMH
