SS Tube

Looking for SS Tube but only in small quantities for my own little mods/atties. Been looking for some 18mm ID but can only find online minimum order of 500mm, and that would be such a waste for what I need.
Anyone know of anywhere online or retail shops ?

Aluminium would be a cheaper alternative, and easier to work with for MODS, maybe advance to SS later?

Yeah deffo SS for atties, and 316 grade minimum, you got access to a lathe?

Was just pondering the logistics, do you suppose top caps are cut from Rod as opposed to tube?, Top and bottom sections would be easy enough, and threads.

I'm no expert mate but I would have thought they'd use rod for top caps yes.

Right now just looking for some tube to make a spheriod type lol, got the top and base made, need some tube for center though.

Go begging at a machine shop, theyll have cut offs, no need for buying dedicated lengths, drop em a fiver

This is just a thought,but some shower rails are made of stainles,i know the new triton ones are but the outside diameter is 22mm not sure of inside diameter though.i bet there not far off 18mm.
this may help as there only about 500mm long.
