netbook recommendations?

I'm after a netbook. Mostly for writing on, but also for watching the odd film and storing a bit of music.

I know you can get cheap-ass ones for 150 quid. They're probably crap. I think I'd rather pay a bit more, but not too much more. Hoping to spend maybe 200quid.

So anyone know of any decent netbooks?

£200 will be pushing it for anything half decent. May be worth hanging on for the Jan sales!

Theres not as many netbooks around it seems than before, theyre bit faster than when they first came out tho - ebuyer.com dell.com savastore.com pcworld.co.uk might hav some deals tho, they hav windows 7 on them too which is cool, can get some laptops for 300 ish tho too with a bigger screen, more ram, hdd, slightly faster processor (but not way faster) only thing is theyre bigger and heavier

Not great, but about in the money.

Decent Netbooks are as scarce as rocking horse poo.

I have a Linux one, but it's fiddly and not very reliable with the old wi-fi.

What about an Acer A7 Chromebook.

I have a samsung series 5 Chromebook and I love it, I have seen them advertised this year for around £227,
I bought mine last year for rather alot more than that! but it really depends if you are happy to save things online rather than on the actual laptop, they are really good though, from off to online in 6 seconds, you can have as many pages open as you like with no slow down bla bla bla
